Small Change, Big Impact: Derby City Gaming Donation Station Raises More Than $63,000 for Norton West Louisville Hospital

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (September 17, 2026) – Derby City Gaming (“DCG”) presented a $63,606.45 donation to Norton West Louisville Hospital today through its Donation Station program.

The Donation Station program allows guests to donate ticket vouchers to support local nonprofit organizations. The average contribution was 35 cents per transaction. Together, those contributions generated a $63,606.45 donation to the Norton Healthcare Foundation to support Norton West Louisville Hospital, which opened in November 2024 to expand access to high-quality healthcare for residents of West Louisville.

The contribution reflects Derby City Gaming’s parent company, Churchill Downs Incorporated’s (“CDI”), commitment to the Louisville community. CDI works to help make Louisville the best place to live, work and build a future by investing in local neighborhoods, expanding opportunity and strengthening Kentucky’s signature industry.

“We’re proud to support Norton West Louisville Hospital and the important role it plays in expanding access to healthcare for our community,” said Bridget Harmon, General Manager of DCG. “This contribution reflects our commitment to investing in organizations that make Louisville stronger.”

“We are incredibly thankful to the community and Derby City Gaming for this meaningful investment in the health of our community,” said Corenza Townsend, chief administrative officer of Norton West Louisville Hospital. “A gift of this caliber through the Norton Healthcare Foundation strengthens our ability to continue providing essential screenings and services while expanding access to care for all!”

Representatives from DCG, CDI and Norton Healthcare gathered at Norton West Louisville Hospital for a ceremonial check presentation celebrating the contribution and the partnership between the organizations.
