Derby City Gaming Hotel & Downtown team members came together this summer to celebrate pride at the Kentuckiana Pride Festival on June 15 and the Louisville Pride Festival on September 14.

Churchill Downs hosted their annual College Day on September 14. College students enjoyed free admission and discounted merchandise. $20,000 in scholarships were awarded with support from the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association.

More generous donors than ever before raised millions of dollars Thursday during the Community Foundation of Louisville’s 11th Give for Good Louisville Campaign across Kentuckiana. As of Friday afternoon, 25,517 donors raised more than $9.5 million for Kentuckiana nonprofits, educational and religious organizations.

The Kentucky Derby Museum is proud to announce a new multi-year partnership with Churchill Downs that will support the museum’s longstanding commitment to educating students about the Kentucky Derby®.

Ellis Park Racing & Gaming is gearing up for an action-packed weekend with PDJF Across America Day, Kentucky HPBA College Day and Teacher Appreciation Day. From Saturday to Monday, 270 horses will compete in 27 thrilling races, averaging 10 horses per race. Daily first post is at 11:50 a.m. CT.

Rosie’s Emporia today announced that it has made a $39,450 donation to Greensville County Public Schools as part of its signature charitable program, “Rosie’s Gives Back.” The donation of nearly $40,000 will help support the school system’s Unitive Justice in Education program and Edgenuity virtual learning program.

Ellis Park Racing and Gaming (“Ellis Park”) hosted a Community Day Saturday, August 10, focused on giving back to the greater Evansville/Henderson area and beyond. The day included $2,500 check presentations to both the Salvation Army and the United Way, as well as smaller donations to seven other nonprofit organizations and a silent auction to raise money for these local nonprofits.
