Bill Carstanjen, Chief Executive Officer, Named to Louisville Business First’s Power 50 List for the Fourth Year in a Row

LOUISVILLE, KY., (February 20, 2024– Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI or the Company) is proud to announce Bill Carstanjen, Chief Executive Officer, has been named to Louisville Business First’s (LBF) Power 50 List for the fourth year in a row. Carstanjen was named CDI’s twelfth CEO in August 2014 and appointed to the Board of Directors in July 2015. Carstanjen brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his leadership role at CDI. Throughout his tenure, he has led the Company’s diversification strategy into online wagering and regional casino gaming, as well as led the growth of the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby events.

LBF’s annual Power 50 List is a special section that highlights 50 of the most influential people in Greater Louisville’s business and related communities.
