Rosie’s Hampton Invests in Community Through Rosie’s Gives Back Program

~ Second Quarter contributions totaling $18,500 to support Hampton Family YMCA, Our Youth, Our Future Foundation, The 200+ Men Foundation Inc., Complete the Puzzle and Pritty in Pink Women’s Empowerment Organization. ~

HAMPTON, VA., (July 19, 2024–  In the second quarter of 2024, Rosie’s Hampton contributed a total of $18,500 through its Rosie’s Gives Back program to support trusted community partners serving local summer camps, college scholarships, back-to-school backpacks, breast cancer survivors, autism resources, and local children and families, 

Recipients of contributions include:

  • $5000 to the Hampton Family YMCA, a family-orientated environment and gathering place for thousands of kids, families, seniors and individuals.  This specific donation is targeted toward funding the Hampton Family YMCA’s summer camp program.
  • $5000 to Our Youth, Our Future Foundation Inc., a Hampton based organization that provides youths with guidance that will enable them to make positive choices regarding their future.  
  • $5000 to the 200+ Men Foundation Inc., which creates programs to provide guidance, direction, leadership and structure.  This donation will be directed toward the youth scholarship program.
  • $1000 to Complete the Puzzle, an autism resource center.  Their mission is to advocate, build acceptance, support parents, and work to build a kinder, more inclusive world for children and youth on the spectrum.  This donation will support the back-to-school backpack program.
  • $2500 to the Pretty in Pink Women’s Empowerment Organization, which strives to make positive change possible by advancing the causes of women.  This donation will support the 7th annual Pretty in Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event honoring women who have survived breast cancer and those who are currently going through treatment.

Community nonprofit organizations can request financial, volunteer, in-kind, or other support through the Rosie’s Gives Back program by submitting an online request form.

Rosie’s Gaming Emporiums in Hampton and around the state contribute to local organizations and causes through the “Rosie’s Gives Back” program which has made $2.5 million in direct donations, $195,000+ in-kind contributions, and donated more than 2,500 hours of volunteer service. The program supports a range of nonprofits and causes around Virginia including groups providing services in education, workforce development, and support for veterans and law enforcement. The goal of the Rosie’s Gives Back program is to meaningfully improve the quality of life in the communities where team members live and work.
