Churchill Downs Incorporated Names Rich Sukhu Vice President and General Manager of Rockingham Grand Casino and Chaser’s Poker Room

Louisville, KY., (July 14, 2026) – Churchill Downs Incorporated (Nasdaq: CHDN)(CDI) announced today that Rich Sukhu has been named Vice President and General Manager of the upcoming Rockingham Grand Casino and Chaser’s Poker Room in Salem, New Hampshire. Sukhu is expected to assume his new role on August 3 and will report to Michael Meagher, Senior Vice President of Gaming Operations.

Sukhu brings more than 24 years of gaming industry experience and nearly two decades of leadership with CDI to this role. Since joining Calder Casino in 2009 as Director of Surveillance, he has steadily advanced through positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Security and Surveillance, Senior Director of Operations, Assistant General Manager and, since 2019, President and General Manager.

Throughout his career, Sukhu has supported enterprise-wide safety, security and surveillance initiatives, assisted with multiple property acquisitions and openings, and built a strong track record of operational excellence, regulatory compliance and team engagement. He is known as a collaborative leader who is passionate about developing people, fostering a positive culture and operating with integrity.

In his new role, Sukhu will oversee operations at both Rockingham Grand Casino, currently under development, and Chaser’s Poker Room. Tommy Leccese will continue in a leadership capacity for both New Hampshire properties, reporting directly to Sukhu.

Churchill Downs Unveils Monument Honoring Oliver Lewis

On Wednesday, June 24, Churchill Downs and the Oliver Lewis Foundation unveiled a bronze statue honoring Oliver Lewis, the jockey who rode Aristides to victory in the inaugural Kentucky Derby in 1875.

Donated to Churchill Downs by the Lewis family, the statue gives Lewis a visible and lasting place at the racetrack where he made history. At just 18 years old, Lewis became the first winning jockey in Kentucky Derby history, helping launch what is now one of the country’s most famous and beloved sporting traditions.
