TwinSpires’ “Soup-er Bowl” Supports Catholic Charities by Tackling Hunger

LOUISVILLE, Ky., (February 6, 2025)— TwinSpires concluded its annual “Soup-er Bowl” challenge, raising a total of 2,827 cans of soup for Catholic Charities of Louisville. Team Campbell led the effort with 1,512 cans, while Team Progresso contributed an impressive 1,315 cans, demonstrating the generosity and community spirit of our team members.

Designed as a two-week, football-themed friendly competition, the initiative began with a “Draft Day,” where employees were assigned to teams and introduced to their coaches. A live scoreboard displayed throughout the office helped build momentum and engagement. The kickoff coincided with National Fun Day at Work, featuring football trivia, team jerseys, and shared tailgate-style snacks. The challenge concluded with a spirited soup cook-off, where employees showcased their culinary talents, winners were awarded trophies, and participants donned their favorite team gear to celebrate a successful campaign in support of our local community.
