Churchill Downs Incorporated Recognized for Philanthropy at 2025 Louisville Business First Awards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (August 19, 2025)— On Tuesday, August 19, Churchill Downs Incorporated (“CDI”) was honored as a Top Ten Large Company for philanthropic giving at the 2025 Louisville Business First Partners in Philanthropy Awards.

Each year, these awards celebrate local businesses that demonstrate exceptional financial support for charitable organizations and philanthropic initiatives.

Ten companies in each category—Small, Medium and Large—are selected based on revenue to recognize their charitable contributions from the previous year. CDI earned its place among other major philanthropic leaders, finishing seventh in the Large Company category with over $4 million in cash donations made in 2024.

The event also spotlighted Nonprofit Visionary Leaders—executive directors, presidents and CEOs of Louisville-area nonprofits.
