Churchill Downs Incorporated Trivia Event Generates Record-Breaking Support for Big Brothers Big Sisters

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 23, 2026) – Churchill Downs Incorporated (“CDI”) team members raised a record-breaking $18,775 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana through the company’s annual Trivia for Kids’ Sake event on Friday, July 17.

The employee-led fundraising effort surpassed CDI’s $15,000 goal by more than $3,700. CDI also contributed $25,000, bringing the total support generated through the event to $43,775.

In the weeks leading up to the competition, team members formed trivia teams and reached out to their personal and professional networks to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters. The teams then came together for a spirited trivia competition, with Virtual Horses earning this year’s championship title.

Trivia for Kids’ Sake has become an annual tradition for CDI team members and provides an engaging way for employees to support Big Brothers Big Sisters while building connections across the company.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships designed to ignite the potential of young people. The Louisville-based nonprofit matches children and teens with adult mentors who provide encouragement, guidance and support.
