Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa Supports Local Community Partners Through Charitable Donations

Greenville, Ms. (June 10, 2026) — Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa recently recognized several community partners with charitable donations supporting their continued work throughout the Mississippi Delta.

Check presentations were made to 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta, Inc., American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Club of Washington County, and BRP Rodeo. The donations reflect Harlow’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the communities where its team members and guests live, work and gather.

Harlow’s is proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference through mentorship, youth development, emergency assistance, community outreach and local engagement.

In addition, Harlow’s recently presented $18,494.33 to the United Way of Washington County through its annual employee campaign. For the past three years, Harlow’s has led Washington County in contributions to the United Way of Washington County.

Winsday Returns with Even Greater Community Impact, Celebrating Local Nonprofits During Kentucky Derby Week

Churchill Downs Incorporated (Nasdaq: CHDN) (the “Company”, “CDI”, “we”) announced today that Golden Tempo claimed the Garland of Roses at the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve under partly sunny skies and the cheers of over 150,000 exuberant fans. 

Golden Tempo, owned and bred by Phipps Stable and St. Elias Stable, trained by Cherie DeVaux, and ridden by Jose Ortiz, raced to the finish to win by a neck at 23-1 odds. Golden Tempo covered the mile and a quarter in 2:02.27 over a fast track. Sired by Curlin, Golden Tempo now has lifetime earnings of over $3.4 million. Cherie DeVaux made history as the first woman ever to train a Kentucky Derby winner. Jose Ortiz rode to victory in both the 152nd Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.

On Thursday, April 2, Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel proudly partnered with the Christian County Military Affairs Committee to host the 4th Annual Hams for Heroes event. It’s an initiative dedicated to giving back to the brave individuals who serve our country and community.

During this year’s event, more than 600 Easter hams and sides were distributed to active-duty military members, veterans and first responders. Vehicles lined up throughout the day as volunteers worked together to ensure each recipient received a holiday meal as a small token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
