CALVERT CITY, KY., (January 5, 2026) – Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming announced today that February 25, 2026 is the grand opening date for Churchill Downs Incorporated’s (“CDI”) eighth state-of-the-art gaming entertainment venue in Kentucky. The public will be welcome for the highly anticipated grand opening celebration as doors open to the $40 million gaming complex featuring over 225 of the latest and greatest historical racing machine (“HRM”) games, simulcast and sports wagering, along with food and beverage offerings including Wet Your Whistle and a Sports Bar.

“All aboard! Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming is officially opening,” said Dave McDade, Assistant General Manager of Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming. “On February 25, 2026, we’re full steam ahead. Kentucky Derby series. The UAE 2000 Guineas (Group 3), the Saudi Derby (G3) and the Dubai Road to
the Kentucky Derby Stakes (formerly the Al Bastakiya) will now award qualifying points toward up to two
invitations for 3-year-old Thoroughbreds to compete in the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford
Reserve (G1) at the historic Churchill Downs Racetrack on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
