Derby City Gaming & Hotel Presents $10,000 Donation to The Hope Buss

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 26, 2025) — Team members from Derby City Gaming & Hotel and Churchill Downs Incorporated visited The Hope Buss’ campus to learn more about the work that the team at The Hope Buss is doing to serve the needs of some of Louisville’s most vulnerable.
For the past several months, The Hope Buss has been the beneficiary of the Donation Station program at Derby City Gaming & Hotel, a program in which patrons donate their leftover winnings to support local nonprofits. The team at Derby City Gaming & Hotel presented The Hope Buss with a check for $10,000.
“The Hope Buss is an integral part of our community,” said Bridget Harmon, General Manager of Derby City Gaming & Hotel. “We have been partners with The Hope Buss and their team for a while, and are beyond thrilled to continue supporting the work that they do.”
The Hope Buss is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on empowering families and individuals to reimagine our community, by working alongside them to build HOPE-based infrastructure and create sustainable resources.
