July 18, 2025
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (July 18, 2025)— On Friday, July 18, team members at Churchill Downs Incorporated, Derby City Gaming, and Churchill Downs Racetrack teamed up for Trivia for Kids’ Sake, benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana. Trivia for Kids’ Sake has been an annual event at CDI for the past several years and has proven to be a great way for team members to get involved with raising funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters. In the weeks leading up to the event, team members were encouraged to form trivia teams and fundraise for their team. Then, on Friday the 18th, the teams gathered together over Zoom to compete! This year’s winning team, Business of Average Intelligence, pulled off a successful repeat of their 2024 victory.
Thanks to team member donations, fundraising, and corporate support, CDI was able to raise a grand total of $38,840 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters, which included $13,840 of team member donations, an increase from 2024.
