Art for Ali: Honoring a Global Legacy Through Art at the Muhammad Ali Center

LOUISVILLE, Ky., (January 9, 2025)— As a proud corporate partner of the Muhammad Ali Center, Churchill Downs Incorporated is honored to help spotlight Art for Ali, a new temporary exhibition that celebrates the life, legacy and global impact of Muhammad Ali through powerful artistic expression.

Art for Ali, now open through February 1, features original works from the Muhammad Ali Center’s Permanent Collection, along with newly created pieces from artists dedicated to preserving and interpreting Ali’s legacy. The exhibition showcases artwork from creators representing countries around the world, reflecting the enduring and universal reach of Muhammad Ali’s influence across cultures, communities and movements for positive change.

As part of the exhibition, select pieces will be featured in a silent auction, with proceeds supporting the Ali Center’s ongoing efforts to mobilize Ali’s legacy and inspire the next generation of changemakers.

Brad Blackwell, CDI Executive Vice President and General Counsel, is a member of the Muhammad Ali Center’s Board of Directors. He has been closely involved in this exhibition and its mission to honor Ali’s impact through art and storytelling.

“It has been an honor to support the Muhammad Ali Center through the Art for Ali exhibition,” said Blackwell. “This event brings together artists from around the world who generously contributed their work to help sustain the Center and preserve Muhammad Ali’s legacy.”

Through partnerships like this, Churchill Downs Incorporated is proud to support organizations that reflect our shared values of leadership, impact and community engagement.
