Churchill Downs Incorporated CEO Robert Evans to Open NASDAQ Stock Market on Wednesday, April 25

Robert L. Evans, president and chief executive officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated (NASDAQ: CHDN) (“Churchill Downs” or “Company”) will ceremoniously open The NASDAQ Stock Market in New York City on Wednesday, April 25.

The event will commemorate Churchill Downs Incorporated’s 14th anniversary of trading on the NASDAQ stock exchange as well as the kickoff for Kentucky Derby week festivities that will culminate on Saturday, May 5, at Churchill Downs racetrack in Louisville, Ky., with the 133rd running of America’s premier horse race, the Grade I Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands. This will mark the fifth time representatives from Churchill Downs Incorporated have participated in NASDAQ’s opening bell ceremonies. In 2006, Company executives opened the NASDAQ stock exchange remotely from Churchill Downs beneath the track’s historic Twin Spires.
